The Party Party-Imps Flirt gelding overtook trot-setting leader Maxter (Tony Morgan) in the closing strides with LT's Best (Vince Copeland) stalking the winner down the lane settling for third. Tom Clendining owns and trains Dingy's Party. Wayne Chrebet, John Zucchino and Kevin McDermott's Stunt Man Hall proved much the best in an $18,500 sub-feature trot negotiating the mile in 1:57 with Morgan at the controls. Owned by Montrell Teague, Top Notch and Elite Racing, the Real Desire-On The Day 4 year old followed Prolific Pacer (Morgan) on the outside until the top of the lane when Morgan pulled the George Teague-trained Days Desire from the pocket and sped to a convincing victory. Who's Next (Mike Cole) was next. Out Of My Pocket found racing room between Pedo Doc (Callahan), second, and RC's Super Toy (Morand), third, approaching the finish to get up first in 1:55.2, a lifetime mark, in an $11,000 pace.
