Baby races at Mohawk

Nine baby races were sent to the post Saturday morning at Mohawk, with colt pacer Another Great Day turning in the fastest split with a 1:58.3 mile.

Another Great Day is a $25,000 yearling by Grinfromeartoear out of Day After. He is owned by Robert Richardson, trained by Jason Libby and driven by Mark MacDonald.

Caprino Hanover, the highest priced pacing yearling sold last year ($270,000), finished fifth in his split in 2:03.3. He is by Western Hanover out of $730,000-winner Cathedra.
