Winbak Farm is moving Badlands Hanover, the sire of 2008 standouts Badlands Nitro and Tug River Princess, from its Delaware stallion station to Winbak of Canada for the 2009 breeding season.
The Badlands Hanover Syndicate, headed by John and Patricia C. Celii and Winbak Farm, owns Badlands Hanover. Along with this move of Badlands Hanover, Winbak Farm will be moving the Canadian Stallion Rustler Hanover to the state of Delaware.
“We think this move is beneficial for both stallions,” Winbak Farm general manager Garrett Bell said. “Badlands Hanover is a proven stallion, making him a perfect fit for the Ontario Sire Stakes Program, and Rustler will provide the Delaware Program a new and fresh Western Hanover line. We are very excited about this upcoming 2009 breeding season with these important changes.” (Winbak Farm press release)
