The brother tandem of Mario and Ben Baillargeon absolutely dominated Sunday’s first leg of the General Brock Trotting Series for 4-year-olds at Woodbine Racetrack, winning all four of the $20,000 divisions that were contested.

The pair struck first in the opening division with McPride, who scored a front-end decision in 1:55.4. The son of Sjs Caviar - Woman Ofmy Dreams held off Lexis Amigo by a nose with Tad The Stud finishing well back in third.

McPride, owned by C Tremblay Holding Inc., Ben Baillargeon and Frank Cirillo, is now two-for-five early in 2010. He returned $17.00 for the win.

Kilted Pride came through in the second division in 1:56.1 as the even-money favorite. The gelded son of Angus Hall - Taylor Seelster converted off a pocket trip to upend American Hot Rod and Mystic River for his second win in six tries this season for C Tremblay Holding Inc.,
frank Cirillo and Soc De Denis Robidoux.

Team Baillargeon clicked again in the third split with favoured Homer Jay, who scored easily in 1:54.4 - the fastest clocking of the four divisions. The gelded son of Muscles Yankee - Miss Misti Girl turned back Good Luck Penny and All Cantab for the win.

Homer Jay returned $4.60 in notching his second win in six starts this season for C Tremblay Holding, Frank Cirillo and Ben Baillargeon.

The dynamic duo capped off their incredible afternoon by winning the final division with Driftwood in 1:56.1. The gelded son of Angus Hall - Lodgepole Pine got away well from post six and was able to pop out at the top of the stretch to win convincingly over Winters Jewel and Zorgwijk Java.

Driftwood is now perfect in two starts since moving into the Baillargeon camp and kicked back $16.20 for the win. It was the fourth career victory for the trotter, who is owned by Jerry Duford, Joanne Wray and Lloyd and Barbara Tylee.

The General Brock Trotting Series will continue with second-round action next Sunday afternoon at Woodbine. (WEG)
