Newcomer Jason Bartlett put on a driving clinic at Monticello Raceway on Tuesday afternoon when he reined six winners on the card. Bartlett, 26, in from Maine where he won 457 races last year and almost 1,300 in the previous three seasons, is the first to win six races at Monticello since Stephane Bouchard did it nearly 10 months ago. He won the first race with Southview Sabre ($5.50) in 1:57 and didn’t win again until the fifth when he reined Biba’s Newphew ($3.80) to a 1:58.3 triumph.
