The 2006 Woodrow Wilson champion Fox Valley Barzgar has been entered Thursday morning in a qualifier at Maywood Park after a delay in starting his sophomore season due to a bacterial infection. Trainer Tom Harmer told harnessracing.com he plans on entering Fox Valley Barzgar in Hawthorne’s $60,000 Chicago stakes on Saturday, June 23, for his pari-mutuel debut. The son of Incredible Finale had a very impressive 16-plus winning qualifier (1:55.3) at
Fox Valley Barzgar finished his freshman season with six wins in eight starts, including a 1:50.2 victory in the $410,000 Wilson final at the Meadowlands. The youngster also won a stakes at Du Quoin while racking up $289,550 in his first season for owner Michael Polansky.
