BC danced at Cal Expo

Boston College is hoping that it dances well into this year's NCAA basketball tournament--The Big Dance--and that BC's Never Dance's victory at Cal Expo Wednesday night wasn't an omen of things to come.



BC (Boston College) hasn't made it past the second round of the Big Dance its past five tries and will take on Penn Thursday afternoon in opening round action in Chicago. As for BC's Never Dance, the 6-year-old trotter posted a career-best 1:57.3 victory Wednesday at Cal Expo in a conditioned event for trainer-driver-lessee James Ruchotzke.



The win was the 12th in 84 career starts for the son of Never Dance out of the Speedy Scot mare Bindy's Shah Shah. His lifetime earnings now stand at $58,985.
