Elegantimage winner Blur romped home a 13 1/4-length winner in 1:59 in one of 15 qualifiers at Gaitway Farm in New Jersey Thursday morning. The program had several 2 and 3 year olds of both gaits making final preps before the upcoming Breeders Crowns at the Meadowlands.

With trainer Trond Smedshammer in the sulky, Blur crossed the wire in 1:59, easily outdistancing runner-up Her Culese, who earlier this year captured the Kentucky Filly Futurity and World Filly Trotting Derby. Finishing third was Aeronautess, with Hambletonian Oaks winner Jalopy fourth after making a break while in the two hole in the stretch. Blur is a sophomore daughter of Muscles Yankee.

New Jersey Sire Stakes champion Flawless Bluestone received a two-hole trip from driver David Miller and was able to put her nose in front of defending divisional champion Solveig (Jimmy Takter) at the wire in 1:59.3.

Among the other qualifiers, She's A Great Lady final winner Little Miss K was a 1:56 winner for driver Eric Ledford. The 2-year-old daughter of Artsplace bested Katies Western, a sister to Kikikatie and Just Wait Kate, by 1 3/4 lengths.
