Beachy Girl rebounded from her first lifetime loss last week in the She’s A Great Lady at Mohawk Raceway and captured the $200,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes final for 2-year-old filly pacers in Cuz She Can and David Palone grabbed the lead after an opening quarter in :27.4 and took the field to the half in :55.1 and the three quarters in 1:24.1. At the head of the lane the leader was joined by Beachy Girl and Ricky Macomber Jr. and the two fillies went head to head down the lane with Beachy Girl prevailing at the wire. After winning her first six starts, this was the seventh triumph in eight races for the Real Desire filly owned by trainer Joe Seekman and Hal Hewitt. The race was one of eight $200,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes finals on the race card. The other Sire Stakes final winners were: Prayer I Am (Like A Prayer) in 1:52.4 in the 3-year-old colt and gelding trot Debbie Hall (Like A Prayer) in Warning Zone (Jate Lobell) in U All BB (Allamerican Ingot) in 1:50.2 in the 3-year-old filly pace Charmaine As (Like A Prayer) in Digital Z Tam (Cambest) in 1:49.4 in the 3-year-old colt and gelding pace Shaman Hall (Like A Prayer) in The 14-race card also included the Moni Maker elimination, which was won by Gerri’s Joy in
