Berry's Creek field

The $225,480 Berry's Creek on Saturday night at the Meadowlands has turned into a wide-open affair with the absence of Jenna's Choice due to an injury. Four Starz Sisco, who drew post eight in the field of 10 three-year-old pacers, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in the 17th edition of the Berry's Creek, carded as the sixth race.



Unraced at two, Four Starz Sisco attracted the spotlight when he won his first four starts this year in impressive fashion, but last Saturday he suffered his first loss, finishing eighth.



"He was having trouble grabbing the track and actually made a break at the five-eighths pole when Eric asked him to accelerate," said trainer Dave Sabatelli of Four Starz Sisco's effort. "I'm very disappointed with (that race), but that's horse racing. We'll put it behind us and hope for a better outcome (in the final)."
