Betsy Hall paced around a breaking Yoko Hall in the stretch to post a 1:53.2 upset in the $59,400 Kentucky Summer Championship final for 3-year-old fillies Sunday night at The Red Mile.

Meeting the gate at odds of 30-1, Betsy Hall and driver Rocky Loney tipped out behind Kentucky Fair final winner Yoko Hall as the field turned into the homestretch. Yoko Hall looked to be gaining on leader Clova, but jumped off and finished ninth. Favorite Designer Gal grabbed second with Otherpeoplesmoney third.

Betsy Hall is a daughter of Cambest owned by Theodore Levine and trained by James Redfern.

Quite Easy won quite easily in the Diamond Creek Farms early-closer for 2-year-old colt trotters in 1:58.1. Driver Marcus Johansson won for trainer Jimmy Takter and owner Quite Easy Partners.

Quite Easy, a $125,000 yearling, is a daughter of Andover Hall out of Hambletonian Oaks winner Marita's Victory.

Storming Lady was awarded first place in the Blue Chip Farms early-closer for 3- and 4-year-old filly pacers after Mommy Robin Q interfered with Keystone Edna at the three quarters.

Storming Lady was driven by Ricky Macomber Jr. for owner Francis Maybank of Greenville, S.C. Joe Seekman trains the 3 year old by Jenna's Beach Boy.
