On a June-in-January weather day, Stonebridge Kisses and Badlands Iron Lady put on gusty performances to win the Tuesday distaff feature races at Dover Downs.

In the $26,000 Mares Open Handicap, Eric Goodell moved Stonebridge Kisses away from the outside to finally assume the lead entering the clubhouse turn. The Artiscape 8 year old then was attacked by Yada Yada Yada A, driven by Ross Wolfenden, at the half-mile pole. They raced as a team down the backstretch with Ireneonthemove and Tony Morgan coming on fast.

Turning for home Goodell and Stonebridge Kisses moved away to win easily in 1:51.4 for trainer Josh Green and owner Martin Scharf. Irenenonthemove finished second while early leader Nidya A with Jim Morand were the show finishers.

Badlands Iron Lady came from far back turning for home to overtake the battling leaders in deep stretch to post a 1:53.3 victory in the $21,000 secondary feature. Eddie Davis Jr. drove the Badlands Hanover 5 year old trained by Tim Torbert for Only Money Inc. Mr. Deli's Filly split horses for Corey Callahan as the 17-1 shot finished second. Play For Real and Wolfenden edged Sixteen Candles with Bob Kinsey Jr. for third place.

In the first of two $14,000 distaff paces, Three Point Acres' Ultimate Bet took the lead early for Sean Bier and never looked back in a 1:53.1 victory. Dream-A-While (Art Stafford Jr.) closed strongly to finish second. Camturo (Davis) collected third money.

The second $14,000 section was won by a 36-1 shot Sweet Lips, driven by Roger Plante for Bonnie Benson and Even Hughes. The Life Sign 4 year old came from four deep at the top of the lane to overtake the leaders scoring a 1:54.3 success. Angkor (Brewer Adams) finished second. Love And Truth (Morand) was placed third. Dainty's Away N (Morgan), finished third, but was disqualified for interference after the start.

Bobby Rice Jr.'s Gangsta Lady won her second in three starts as Kevin Sizer steered the Cam's Card Shark mare to a 1:54.2 win in an $11,500 mares pace. Queen-Liz-Hershey (Brandon Givens) was second in front of Lockes Of Love (Goodell). (Dover Downs)
