A quartet of longshots, including a $77 winner, on Thursday night helped produce a Pick-6 carryover of $58,491.60 for Friday’s card at the Meadowlands. There was a $25,000 Pick-6 carryover entering the Thursday card that attracted an additional $55,770 in Pick-6 wagering.

The Pick 6 unfurled with driver Andy Miller scoring at 37-1 in the fourth race, a $12,500 Junior Trendsetter series division, with Now I’m A Believer. Other longshot winners included Alittlemore Action for driver Dan Dube at 11-1 in the sixth race and New Dice Please at 12-1 in race seven with Dave Miller in the bike.

There were two winning Pick 6 consolation tickets for five winners, each worth $5,577. The Pick 6 is a $1 minimum wager on races four through nine every racing night at the Meadowlands.

Friday’s Pick 6 features a pair of favorites riding lengthy winning streaks. Miss Galvinator A brings a 13-race skein into race four, the first leg of the Pick 6 and opening round of the Cape & Cutter Series. Rated at 6-5 on the morning line, she will start from post one for driver Yannick Gingras and trainer Ettore Annunziata.

In race nine, the last leg of the Pick 6, JK Cu Later puts a five-race streak on the line in the opening round of the Exit 16W Series. Fresh off a stakes record 1:51 victory in the Clyde Hirt final two weeks ago, the 4-year-old gelding will start from post four for driver Ron Pierce and trainer Mickey Burke. (Meadowlands)
