Tom Crouch, who bred the top 3-year-old pacing colt Tell All, enjoyed a big win at Churchill Downs on Thanksgiving Day when his 4-year-old mare Kettleoneup won the $324,300 Falls City Handicap (Grade II).
Kettleoneup, who was ridden by Calvin Borel, who won this year's Kentucky Derby with Street Sense, pulled off a mild upset, defeating a field that included the highly-regarded Panty Raid (who was named after the accomplished trotting filly of the same name). Kettleoneup paid $17.60 in scoring her fourth win in 10 starts this year.
