Jim Morrill Jr. tipped Showherthemoney three wide off a third-over trip turning for home and the daughter of Cam's Card Shark rallied to win the first of two $101,500 Bluegrass divisions for 3-year-old filly pacers in 1:51.3 Friday afternoon at The Red Mile. Also closing in the middle of stretch to win the second split was Shanghai Lil and driver Mike Lachance in 1:51.2.

Showherthemoney, coming off a Jugette victory last week at Delaware, Ohio, outclosed Up Front Kellie Jo and driver George Brennan, with Indulge Me and Mike Lachance third.

Now a winner of five straight since moving into the barn of Tracy Brainard--including the Nadia Lobell at The Red Mile on Sept. 14, Showherthemoney is owned y Bulletproof Enterprises. Her seasonal earnings now top $547,000.

Shanghai Lil closed from last in the seven-horse field as she stormed up the middle of the long Red Mile stretch, easily rushing past the field and on to the career best-equaling win. West Of LA finished second for Ron Pierce with That's The Plan third for Jody Jamieson. A daughter of Jenna's Beach Boy, Shanghai Lil was a Kentucky Sire Stakes champion last year at two and a third-place finisher in this year's final in early September.

A winner now in four of 16 starts this year, Shanghai Lil's earnings vaulted well past $400,000 on Friday. Pete Foley trains the winner for owner All Star Racing.
