The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has reported State Harness Racing Commission member Richard J. Bolte Sr. has resigned. Bolte, who lives in New Jersey, has been under fire during his 13-month term on the commission, especially since the application of Centaur Inc. to build a racetrack called Valley View Downs in Beaver County was denied.
