Form held in Yonkers Raceway's just-concluded 2007 racing season, as Stephane Bouchard earned his  fifth consecutive driving title and Tim Case was the leading trainer for the fourth time in the last five seasons.

For Bouchard, it was another excellent adventure as the Raceway concluded its 309-program calendar New Year's Eve. The 41-year-old nativie of Montreal won 508 races from 2,541 starters (just under 20 percent) and $5,315,899 in purses. The dollar total in this era of video gaming represented the highest  single-season figure by a driver in Yonkers' history.

Bouchards's career season included 814 victories and more than $7.6 million in purses, ranking third and 12th, respectively, in North America.

Newbies Greg Grismore (295 wins) and Pat Berry (279) made strong impacts in their first full local seasons, finishing second and third, respectively, with Jeff Gregory (179) and Pat Lachance (156) completing the top five.

The 40-year-old Case, from Lewiston, Me., sent out 175 winners from a staggering 990 starters (17.7 percent). His also led in purses with  $1,575,914. Case's 191 total training wins placed him ninth in North America.

Matt Medeiros (151 wins), Mark Ford (89), Julius Czermann Jr. (86) amd Chris Marino (78) rounded out the leading local quintet. Case barely edged 2007's leading North American trainer, Mickey Burke (71 YR wins, purses of $1,561,648), in the Westchester earnings race, though it should be noted that Burke  had 656 fewer starters.

Bouchard and Case also won the winter meet (Oct. 1-Dec. 31) titles, with 126 and 56 victories, respectively.
