Brad Kramer wins four and Stratton wins big

Return Home
January 27, 2011 | Print View

Late last fall Brad Kramer moved his base of operations to the Mighty M and not being well known on the east coast he caught on slowly but  once again his talent is speaking for itself.

On the Wednesday card of January 26 Kramer reined four winners.

He won the first race with Jack & Rose Deluca’s Beach Weekend  ($6.60) in a 2:02 clocking and then copped the  third race behind Rosemarie Moore’s Do The West ($17.80) in 2:03:1.

Win number three for the transplanted Michigander was a 2:00:2 triumph in the fifth race with Mocoo Inc. and Jonathan Klee Racing’s Hard Hitter ($4.30). Kramer capped his day with a 2:02:1 victory in the 13th race  with  RBH Ventures Smarty Marty Z ($8.90)  in a time of 2:02:1.

Halfway through the card when contacted in the paddock after his third victory and was told that he’s off to a good start this year the talented driver who is now approaching 7000 career wins said with a laugh:  “Not as good as I’m used too!”

With his four wins today Kramer now has  16 seasonal victories and he ranks third on the local leaderboard.

But the shocker of the day came in the 12th race when 18-year –old Cory Stratton reined PB Racing Stables’, Bolero Artifice  to a 2:00 victory  from the nine-hole and returned a whopping  $145.00 for win. (Monticello)
