Breeders Crown Fantasy Draft set for Oct. 18

The Breeders Crown Fantasy Draft, presented by Standardbred Canada, will award one lucky player entry into the 2013 World Harness Handicapping Championship featuring an estimated $100,000 prize pool! The 2013 WHHC is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 13, at the Meadowlands.
 
The draft will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the offices of Standardbred Canada at 2150 Meadowvale Blvd. in Mississauga. Players must be able to check in by 6 p.m.
 
The cost to enter will be $50. There will be a maximum of 40 players. In addition to the Grand Prize of earning a spot in the WHHC, the winner will receive 75 percentof the total prize pool. The runner up will receive 25 percent.
 
Players will draft six (6) horses, one (1) trainer and one (1) driver competing in the 2012 Breeders Crown eliminations and finals on Oct. 19, 20 and 27. Players will receive points based on the official finishing positions for their horses, drivers and trainers in the Breeders Crown elimination races and finals.
