A Very Nice Horse ($33.40, $14.00, $7.00) provided driver George Brennan with the fourth of his seven winners in Friday's featured sixth race, the $30,000 fillies and mares conditioned pace, on Friday night at the Meadowlands.

Brennan, who posted a four-bagger last Saturday, won the first two races on Friday --- Tiber Hanover ($8.20) in the first race and Bossi Corner ($13.80) in the second --- and then added his third victory of the night in the fourth race with longshot Blushfire ($54.20).

He made it four out of the first six races with A Very Nice Horse, who paced a lifetime best of 1:50 flat. Sweet Lady Lee ($22.00, $5.80) was three-quarters of a length back in second. GE’s Jen ($2.40), the 3-5 favorite, faded to third, two lengths back.

A Very Nice Horse, a 5-year-old daughter of Incredible Finale, improved her record to eight wins, five seconds and seven thirds from 23 starts this year. She has now banked more than $200,000 in her career for Colleen and Robert Ferrar and Robert Grider.

Two races later, in the eighth, Brennan completed a full house with Royal Flush Shark ($8.40). His sixth trip to the winner’s circle came in the ninth race with Durin Hanover ($6.60). GTs Graig (3.80) in the tenth race provided the 39-year-old Brennan with his seventh win.

The track record of eight wins on one program belongs to Mike Lachance, who pulled off the feat on July 14, 1995.
