Newsday.com is reporting that David Brooks is being transferred back to a federal detention center on Tuesday, Aug. 31 after spending more than a week in the Nassau County jail. Brooks had lodged a series of complaints about his treatment in the detention center. Brooks is still awaiting a verdict in the $185-million fraud case involving body armor company DHB Industries. The jury has sent several notes to the charge claiming they are having trouble moving forward with deliberations. To read the article click here
