Return Home
June 12, 2008 Send To A Friend  | Print View

The $25,000 second leg of the Miss Versatility trotting series has drawn the interest of nine of the best trotting mares in North America, including world champion Buck I St Pat. The field of nine will go postward on Saturday night at Tioga Downs, which begins its card with a post time of 6:50 pm.

Buck I St Pat will look to continue her six-race winning streak for trainer Mickey Burke. Buck I St Pat has won 8 of 10 races in 2008 and sports seasonal earnings of more than $285,000. The 5-year-old daughter of Jailhouse Jessie is owned by Howard Taylor, Edwin Gold, Abraham Basen and Robert Fuller. Buck I St Pat has been listed as the 8-5 morning line favorite and Howard Parker has been given the nod for his chance to sit behind the world champion trotter.
