Bulletproof Enterprises has supplemented If I Can Dream and Vertical Horizon to the $160,000 Cleveland Classic, set for this Saturday night at Northfield Park. If I Can Dream won the Breeders Crown and just last Friday finished third in the Windy City Pace at Maywood Park. Vertical Horizon captured the Progress Pace at Dover Downs earlier this month. Tracy Brainard trains both horses.
If I Can Dream, a career winner of over $1.9 million, will be driven by Tim Tetrick and start from post one. David Miller, a former Ohio driving star now based on the East Coast, will drive Vertical Horizon (post 3), and Dave Palone, the leading driver at The Meadows, will drive top contender Sheer Desire (post 4) for trainer Ron Burke. Supplemental entries pay a $15,000 entry fee for not nominating and sustaining at the scheduled deadlines.
Below is the field. Post time for the race has been set for 11:02 pm Saturday.
