Cal Expo added in Vegas

The Sacramento Harness Association, the operator of Cal Expo Raceway harness racing, has reached an agreement with the Nevada Pari-Mutuel Association to send the Cal Expo signal to Nevada, in which 86 race and sports book association members throughout the state will be offered the Cal Expo signal.

"Cal Expo will be a great later evening fit for the association," John Avello, race and sports book director of the Wynn Resort and Casino, and a director of the Pari-Mutuel Association, said. "The Bal-Cal and other Cal Expo guaranteed pools have sparked interest from our harness customers."

"We are extremely happy about exporting our Cal Expo product to some world-class establishments in Nevada," Chris Schick, general manager of Sacramento Harness, said. “This will also please our Northern and Southern California fans who make frequent trips to Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe."

The Cal Expo signal is scheduled to begin in Nevada on Wednesday, Oct. 4. (Cal Expo)
