June 05, 2007 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Cal-Expo (Sacramento Harness Association) and the California Harness Horsemen’s Association (CHHA) have announced the details of their 2007 Horse Incentive Program, and it calls for horses that have raced in pari-mutuel races in other jurisdictions to receive between $1,000 and $2,500 upon racing at Cal-Expo.

The specific amount depends on what class the horse has recently raced in and whether or not the horse is under the care of a California trainer.

A fund of $150,000 has been established for the program.  The program will run until year’s end (or until the fund is fully committed).

Details of the program can be found on the CHHA web site at www.chhaonline.com or from the Cal-Expo race office. (CHHA)
