January 06, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Camelot Hall, who was bred to one mare in 2005 and never lined up behind the starting gate, is back on the track at age 5. He won a qualifier at Mohawk Friday morning in 1:57.1.

At age 2 Camelot Hall, a son of Blissfull Hall, won the $830,798 Metro and finished second in the $640,000 Woodrow Wilson. At age 3 he finished second in elims for the North America Cup and Meadowlands Pace, but failed to earn checks in the million-dollar finals.

He won the Jersey Cup at 3 at the Meadowlands, taking a lifetime mark of 1:49. He's now back on the track sporting that speed badge along with a career bankroll of $856,639 for owners David Scharf, Steve Arnold, Jerry Silva and Sampson Street Stables.
