Cam's Eclipse to Kentucky

Cam’s Eclipse, who has stood stallion duty in Michigan the past five years and has two small crops of racing age competing, will stand the 2007 breeding season at Peninsula Farm in Kentucky.

Cam’s Eclipse, from the last crop of sire Cam Fella, will stand for a fee of $1,500, with a multiple mare discount. He is out of the brilliant $270,000-winning mare Styx And Scones.

Cam’s Eclipse is the sire of 2-year-old gelding Hesagreateclipse, whose 1:57 win at The Red Mile in late May was a national season’s mark. Doc’s Cash, from Cam’s Eclipse’s first crop, is this year’s Kentucky Colt Stakes 3-year-old champion.

“Cam’s Eclipse has had success with his first two crops while in Michigan, and he will certainly be an asset to the Kentucky breeding program with this move to the Bluegrass,” said owner Dr. Andy Roberts.
