Cam’s Fool has returned from a tour Down Under and qualified in 1:56 at the Meadowlands Thursday morning.

Driven by Brian Sears, Cam’s Fool closed in :26.4 to finish fourth in the seventh qualifier of the morning.

Down Under the Cam’s Card Shark 5 year old made 12 starts and earned $20,200 with one win, three seconds and a third. He was fourth in his Inter Dominion heat last March and failed to make the final.

As a 3 year old in 2005, Cam’s Fool won the Oliver Wendell Holmes in a lifetime-best 1:50.2 and earned $482,685. The stallion is owned by Jeff Snyder and Lothlorien Equestrian Center.

In other qualifier news, Palone Ranger was timed in 1:57 in his first appearance since his win in the Messenger Nov. 25.
