Carlson pulls "Holdup" at Dover Downs

Stagecoach Holdup came from off the pace to capture the Tuesday feature, a $20,000 male claiming pace, at Dover Downs.
 
After a month's respite, Stagecoach Holdup returned to the races and struck with a 1:51.4 victory, a lifetime record, with Eric Carlson at the controls. Philanthropist (Corey Callahan) finished second in front of Four Starz Q (Ross Wolfenden).
 
Eli Scott trains the winner, a JK Outlaw-Jennys Money gelding, for Joe and JoAnn Thomson. It was his 12th career win and brought his earnings to $133,771.
 
George Dennis and Ross Wolfenden had driving triples. (Dover Downs)
