Breeders Crown 3-Year-Old Colt Trot contenter Celebrity Secret qualified in 1:56.4 at the Meadowlands Friday morning, and later Kentuckiana Farms issued a press release stating that the colt will stand at stud at Kentuckiana of New Jersey in 2009.
Celebrity Secret presently has career earnings of $1,099,663 and a mark of 1:52.3. This year Celebrity Secret has earned the distinction of being only one of two horses to ever defeat the sensational Deweycheatumnhowe, in what is regarded by many as the most memorable three-heat Kentucky Futurity in modern-day trotting history. Celebrity Secret set the pace in the race-off and then was nosed out at the wire.
A stud fee for the son of Yankee Glide will be announced after the Breeders Crown.
