Post time for Woodbine's Sunday night harness racing card has been moved back to 8 pm, 30 minutes later than usual, and will feature just nine races. The reason is because the final card of the 2007 Woodbine Thoroughbred season was drawn today with a season-high 13 races and a whopping 177 horses.
As a result of the extended live Thoroughbred card, which kicks off one-half hour earlier than usual at 12:40 p.m., the final event will go to post at approximately 6:28 p.m.
"With the cancellation of the two Thoroughbred cards recently (Dec. 2 and after race 1 on Nov. 22), we wanted to get as much racing in for the horsemen as possible," said Jamie Martin, Woodbine Entertainment Group's Senior Vice-President of Racing. (WEG)
