Yonkers Raceway is making some changes to its racing schedule for the remainder of the year, although the six-program-per-week schedule will continue for all but holiday weeks.
The week of Monday, Nov. 19, Yonkers will race Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Thanksgiving Eve), Friday and Saturday. There is no live racing (or evening simulcasting) on Thanksgiving night (Thursday, Nov. 22).
The six-night a week schedule resumes and continues from Monday, Nov. 26, through Dec. 17.
There is no live racing from Dec. 18 through Christmas, Tuesday, Dec. 25. Racing returns Wednesday, Dec. 26, for an abbreviated four-day week, with the final live program of 2007 set for New Year's Eve (Mon., Dec. 31) with a special 5 pm first post.
