If you're a harness racing fan in Illinois it's time to bring out your calendar. Beginning Sunday, June 7, all three harness tracks in Chicagoland will be racing simultaneously through the end of August.



In this first-of-a-kind schedule, Hawthorne begins its 2005 season on Sunday night and will also race Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Balmoral Park will race Tuesday and Saturday nights while Maywood will race solely on Thursday evenings.



The featured event on the Hawthorne card Sunday is a $15,500 fillies and mares open, with the field of six including Illinois champion Parklane Powerful. The featured event is slated as the seventh race on the card.
