The Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association has set Monday, Oct. 8, as the date for this year’s sale. As in the past the sale will be held at Rosecroft Raceway; the big change in format is that the sale will be on a Monday. The Chesapeake Yearling Sale has one of the best fee structures of any yearling sale. The entry fee is $200; the commission is $200 minimum or 6 percent (5 percent if a member of the MSBA).
