Classic Photo in Review

Hambletonian runner-up Classic Photo will take on four rivals in the $50,000 Review Stakes at the Springfield, Ill., fairgrounds Monday afternoon, Aug. 15. It will be the first start for the sophomore son of SJ's Photo since he finished second to Vivid Photo in the $1.5 million Hambo Aug. 4 at the Meadowlands.



Trainer Erv Miller has named his brother, Andy, to drive Classic Photo, who has drawn post two in the compact five-horse field. Andy Miller directed Classic Photo five times last year as a freshman, including a second-place finish in the $228,000 Valley Victory. He was in the sulky twice earlier before Erv turned the lines over to Ron Pierce.



Also in the Review field is Norvelous, Self Posession, Agassi Hall and Armani Bluestone.



Flirtin Miss heads a field of seven 3-year-old filly trotters entered in the $40,000 Review Stakes. She finished third by a nose in the Delvin Miller Memorial final and then made a break in her Hambletonian Oaks elimination.
