Classic supplements due

Supplemental nominations for The Classic Series (TCS) must be received in the offices of the Hambletonian Society by the close of business on Monday, March 26, with the TCS beginning at Dover Downs with the first of three $85,000 preliminary legs on Monday, April 9 and continuing with legs at the Meadowlands on May 5 and Mohawk on June 9.

The $250,000 Series finals for all four divisions will be raced at Mohawk on Saturday, June 16. Total purses available to a horse that participates in all three legs and the final of the Series amount to approximately $500,000.

For the first time in Series history, no entry fee will be required of those who start in the final, a savings of $5,000 over years past. Entry fees for the legs will remain at 2 percent of the purse.

Checks should be made payable to and, again, must be received by the Hambletonian Society at 109 South Main St, Suite #18 , Cranbury , NJ 08512 no later than Monday, March 26.
