Clerk Magistrate to stand at stud in Sweden in '09

Clerk Magistrate, who compted against the top members of his generation in 2008, and fell a head short of beating Deweycheatumnhowe in a heat of the Kentucky Futurity, will stand his first season at stud in Sweden in 2009.
 
Clerk Magistate has been sold to a consortium including the previous Norwegian owners and a group in Sweden, headed by trainer Tommy B. Andersson.
 
The son of Andover Hall-Weather Bird (by Lindy Lane) sports a record of 1:53.2 and career earnings of $800,437, with $798,487 of that amount earned as a 3 year old.  He was trained by Per Henriksen during his 3-year-old campaign and took his major victories in Goodtime Stakes and American National.
