Redford Hall won the $37,500 Preferred, Clinton Longshot, the $35,000 Delaware Special again, and Cheyenne Hollywood the $27,500 Open Handicap on a Monday Dover Downs card that featured a hot hand bay Brian Sears with seven wins.

A recent acquisition by Lloyd Arnold of Dover, Del., Redford Hall enjoyed a perfect trip for Tony Morgan, and the Cambest gelding pulled out of third in the lane and hustled home for a 1:50.4 victory in the week's top event. Gold Dust Beach, with David Miller, cut out the pace, and held on for second with Sharky Osborne, driven by Sears, third.

For the second straight week, Majorie Richards' Clinton Longshot won the $35,000 Delaware Special. Last week it was a wire-to-wire victory, this time Sears attacked race favorite Poppy Lustre N and Tim Tetrick on the backstretch and the duo raced side-by-side until reaching the stretch when the Real Gregoire-trainee pulled off for his third win of the year. Thin Blue Line and Ron Pierce shot along the passing lane to take second with Art Director and Miller closing for third.

Post eight was not a burden for The Cheyenne Gang's Cheyenne Hollywood, one of Sears's seven winners during the program. Dropping down from the Preferred last week, the Western Hanover 5 year old scored a 1:51 victory in the $27,500 Open Handicap. Print It roared down the late for Tetrick to finish second. What A View and Ross Wolfenden took show honors.

Sears also guided Marced Card to a 1:52 score in a $21,000 winners-over pace. The Jeff Franklin and Todd Wise-owned Cam's Card Shark 5 year old won for the second time this year. Yogi Bare, as usual, came from way back with Tim Curtin to finish second. Shotaway N was third for Tetrick.

Morgan's first of three wins came steering Jack Davis' Hot Lather to a 1:51.4 lifetime best mile in the first $21,000 winners-over pace. Armbro David with Miller was next. Vantastic Wizzard and Pierce finished third.

In the third $21,000 winners-over Bill Emmons' impeccably bred JK Jack scored a 1:52.2 triumph with Miller at the controls. Sand Sax (Morgan) was the place finisher. Buster Seelster (Pierce) took show. (Dover Downs)
