Complex Series continues

In the first of two $20,000 divisions of the Complex Series Friday night at the Meadowlands, My Buddy Bob edged JK Royal Flush by a nose to score in 1:53.2. Prince Vince was third.



My Buddy Bob, was driven by Patrick Berry. The 5-year-old son of Cole Muffler is trained and co-owned by Rick Dane Jr. in partnership with Michael and Laura Lee.



In the second division, Rare Jewel and driver Brian Sears cruised to a 1 1/4-length victory in 1:53.4 over Bay Sign and Fox Valley Assault.



Trained by Richard Banca, Rare Jewel notched his first win in his third start of the year for owner Norman Vartanian



The Complex Series concludes next Saturday with a $95,000 final.
