June 28, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Walnut Hall Ltd.-bred Constance Hall, a half sister to 2003 Trotter of the Year Cantab Hall, won a qualifier at Windsor Raceway Wednesday morning in 2:04.1. The 2-year-old daughter of Striking Sahbra-Canland Hall failed to make her reserve bid last fall as a yearling and was retained by Walnut Hall Ltd., who turned her over to trainer Bob McIntosh. Peter Wrenn directed the filly to the 3 1/4-length win.

The McIntosh-trained colt trotter Political Victory was a 2:06.3 winner for driver Steve Condren. A son of Balanced Image-Lookout Victory, Political Victory is owned by breders Al Libfeld, Marvin Katz, Sam Goldband in partnership with Robert Kauffman.
