Veteran horse owner and breeder Tom Cooke has been elected to a third consecutive term as president of the Cloverleaf Standardbred Horsemen's Association (CSOA). Cooke noted that among his goals for 2010 are: 1) Supporting CEI (owner of Rosecroft Raceway) in its efforts to emerge from bankruptcy as an ongoing concern; 2) working closely with Rosecroft's contract purchaser Mark Vogel, in restoring live racing at the earliest possible date; and 3) doing everything to assist Ocean Downs open the track's slots operation as soon as possible while ensuring the track's 2010 annual 40-day meet.
