Alain Durivage's Armbro Corbin ($22.40, Brandon Givens) was an upset winner in the $20,300 Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway. The 5-year-old Striking Sahbra gelding and Givens left the gate from post four, setting fractions of :28.1, :58.2, 1:27.1 while Bud Ross (Tim Tetrick) pressured him on the outside, but a :29.1 last quarter was good enough for "Corbin," who won by a length. Bud Ross was second with Johnny Peanuts third.
The Scott Gregoire-trained Armbro Corbin earned his fourth win in 17 starts this year as he became the fourth consecutive different winner of the track's top weekly event for trotters.
Harrington's leading driver, Tony Morgan, won five races on the card. Meanwhile, Tetrick continues to close in on the 3,000 win milestone, with one win on the program giving him 2,977 in his career. (Harrington)
