Van Anna, driven by Chip Noble, won Saturday’s $120,000 Courageous Lady at Northfield Park in a time of 1:53.1. Van Anna, owned by Robert Kaufman and trained by Danny Collins, beat the favored Art’s Temptress, a $10,000 supplemental entry, by two lengths, while Caviart Sydney was third. Sent off at 11-1, Van Anna posted a new lifetime mark with the win, and pushed her career earnings to $239,980.
