Trainer Ross Croghan and driver John Campbell teamed for wins in both $20,000 Sweetheart eliminations for pacing fillies, scoring with Girls Nite Out in 1:51.4 and Mintjulep Bluechip snagged a win in 1:55.1.
Girls Nite Out, a 2-year-old filly by Four Starzzz Shark, started from post one and fended off Pedigree Snob by a neck. Girls Nite Out has now won two of four starts for the Let It Ride Stables, Jerry Silva and Robert Cooper Stables.
Finishing Third was Right Right, a Cole Muffler colt trained by Erv Miller, while Twist N Clout had her winning streak snapped at three when she finished fourth, which was good enough to advance.
In the second elim, Mintjulep Bluechip, a daughter of Bettor's Delight out of BJ's Sunshine, edged the George Teague-trained She's Everything by a nose. Blue Chip Bloodstock owns Mintjulep Bluechip, who now has two wins in as many pari-mutuel starts this year.
