Cruzin Inya Jammys wins at Scioto

Cruzin Inya Jammys held off Cat Burgler by a half-length to win Friday night's Open Handicap Pace at Scioto Downs for fillies and mares with a 1:54.1 effort. Kyle Ater drove the winner, who is trained by his father Dan for owner Mark Wooten.

Niabunny left the gate fastest of all to show the way to the first quarter, but then yielded to Cruzin Inya Jammys. Driver Dan Noble was the first to move with Yndra Hanover, followed by Cat Burgler.

When the pacesetter rebuffed Yndra Hanover, driver Chris Page put Cat Burgler in contention and just missed catching Cruzin Inya Jammys at the wire. What's The Hurray, who trailed the field in the early going, rallied for third. The first three finishers were separated by less than a length.
