May 13, 2005 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Mr. Muscleman and Hurri Kane Billy G were the winners of the two eliminations for the Arthur J. Cutler Memorial Friday night at the Meadowlands. Mr. Muscleman held off Hez Striking in 1:54.2 while Hurri Kane Billy G popped out a two-hole trip to score in 1:53.

In the elim won by Hurri Kane Billy G, Sand Vic was a surprising second over betting favorite Hellava Hush. Holy Guacamolie broke stride and finished last.

The elim won by Mr. Muscleman turned into a four-horse race when both Fool's Goal and Durgin Hanover were scratched. Mr. Muscleman took the lead from Hez Striking just before the half and then stole a :30.3 third quarter before the sprint home.
