Millionaire Southwind Lynx added to his already stellar credentials Saturday, October 13 by winning a division of the James B. Dancer Memorial for sophomore pacers at Freehold Raceway. The George Teague trainee stopped the clock in 1:52.3 while Tivoli Hanover collected the second division in 1:52.

Driven by Tim Tetrick, Southwind Lynx took command racing to the half in the  $134,265 first division. Once in front, the favorite opened up by two and three-quarter lengths at the wire to collect his sixth seasonal score. The Real Artist colt dispatched seven challengers, with Watta Hottshot (Yannick Gingras) finishing second and Pandoras Sox (David Miller) third. The winner is owned by Teague Inc. and K & R Racing. LLC.

Tivoli Hanover scored an upset in the $137,265 second division Saturday in a one-length triumph. With George Brennan in the bike, the gelded son of Western Hanover went off at 16-1 for trainer Chris Oakes, beating second choice Artzina and John Campbell to the wire. Takeshigemichi, driven by Daniel Dube, raced third and favorite Kenneth J was fourth for Ron Pierce.
