With no prep race for the Breeders Crown 3-Year-Old Filly Pace, five of the entrants were forced to go the qualifying route Friday morning at Mohawk, with Darlin's Delight coming up the winner. With Yannick Gingras driving from post three, Darlin's Delight led wire to wire to defeat My Little Dragon and Brendan Johnson by three-quarters of a length in 1:53.2.

Darlin's Delight set fractions of :28, :58 and 1:26.3 before kicking home in :26.4 to hold off My Little Dragon. The other three Crown hopefuls, Grandiose Gal, Western Gallie and Eternity's Delight, finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Jeff Stafford trais Darlin's Delight, a daughter of Bettor's Delight, for owner White Birch Farm.
