Little Brown Jug-eligibles Mr. Feelgood and Perfect Union finished in a 1:52.1 dead heat for win Thursday night in the ninth race at the Meadowlands. Wiggle Out Of This finished third by a neck.

It was the first start of the year for Mr Feelgood, a Grinfromeartoear colt driven by Ron Pierce. Last year Mr. Feelgood won the $100,000 Metro Consolation en route to earnings of $92,980 and a mark of 1:53. He is owned by Canamerica Capitol Corp, Diversity Stable and Lindy Farms of Connecticut and trained by Jimmy Takter.

Perfect Union wins his second start of the year after making a break and being placed fourth last week. The colt by The Panderosa is out of the Matt’s Scooter mare Grand Lady, making him a half-brother to Matriarch winner Glowing Report. A $135,000 yearling purchase, Perfect Union won the $114,300 Bluegrass Stakes last year and $211,062 with a mark of 1:52.1 for owner Marvin Rounick and trainer Jerry Silverman.

Wiggle Out Of This, another Jug-eligible, is a homebred son of Western Hanover out of Wigglemyclass. He has made $12,125 lifetime with a mark of 1:53.2 taken May 3.

Fellow Jug-eligible Riegle Ideal finished seventh.

In the night’s tenth race, Jug-eligible Took Hanover finished third, beaten three-quarters of a length in 1:52.1. The son of The Panderosa was a $100,000 yearling purchase.
