Mypanmar and Shu Hanover finished in a dead heat for win in 1:50.2 the $50,000 second leg of the Presidential Series on Saturday night at the Meadowlands. It was a half-length back to Casimir Camotion in third.

Mypanmar, with John Campbell driving, moved to the lead with an eighth of a mile to go while Shu Hanover, with David Miller in the sulky, was following an outside route, making up ground with every stride. The two 5 year olds hit the wire together.

Mypanmar, a chestnut son of The Panderosa, posted his first victory in three starts this year. Owned and bred by the Peter Pan Stables Inc. of Pepper Pike, Ohio, Mypanmar now has 18 wins and has finished in the money in 26 of 41 career starts, banking more than $260,000.

Shu Hanover races for the Rucker Stable, Jordon Sklut and Centaur Stable. He has one win and one second in two starts this year and lifetime has 29 wins, 14 seconds and four thirds from 69 starts.
